One of my friend experienced similar thing with Qantas, however, Qantas provided much better customer services and he was very happy with the service of Qantas.
He was on a flight from Perth to Singapore, Qantas overbooked the flight.
Qantas called him few days before his flight and given him 2 options.
Option 1: Qantas apologize, given him full refund, and other damages he might suffered due to the delay.
Option 2: Qantas provided him with a 1 night in a 5 star hotel, and upgrade to Business class on the flight next day.
He was not in a hurry to get home, so he happily took the option 2. |
