Please forward this email to someone in charge, like the police officer who is dealing with this case at the moment.
Don't give this to the guy came to our meeting today, cuz I already told him and he didn't agree with me.

I am not sure but there is some certainty that my analysis make sense.

1) Goupe of young people live in town may threw eggs or water bombs to people, but they are not dare to bash people. Well if someone hit them, them may bash back. But they won't hide in a place, jump out suddenly and bash someone they don't know.
2)People live in town saw police patrolling on street everyday, but people live outside of town don't. It is more likely people live in town are afraid of doing such things.
3)I believe most crime involves a car. Cuz the criminals want to get out of the scene as quickly as they can, and the most important thing is that they don't want to be seen by pedestrians.
There were 5 or 6 people involved in the incident happened on 3rd May. So I reckon they were driving a small van. Please go check the cameras at each entrance of Hobart. Pay attention to vans came in Hobart at 6 and get out of Hobart at 10.

By the way, check old write vans especially those with black windows.
