what's the best deal?

my boy friend applied 885 since last year but hasn't to be granted by immi dep.
i am eligible for 886 but not 885.
i know if i apply 886 i have to stay in TAS for 2 years after pr is granted.
my boy friend doesn't want to stay here and wait for 2 years if i apply 886.
however, we have no idea when his 885 can be granted.
we plan to officially marry after one of us get pr.

so, in this case who can kindly advice me what's best deal for us?

wait for 885, won't be long i think, even 886 can be granted within a month

i am holding student visa and next month will be bridging visa of 485.

If your boyfriend doesn't want to stay here,the best option for you guys is waiting until his 885 is granted.Additionally,it's more likely for you to get a job in mainland as an account.
