One thing you may no know is that every time something like this happens to Qantas, it will make to the news.  My father has fly with Air China back to China once with only half of fuel tank.  The plane has to make 2 extra stop in Darwin and Bangkok.  I have also heard China Eastern skid off the run way in Sydney from another friend, but it never made to the main stream media.  Even some of the incident with Virgin Blue has not been reported because people don't care.  People like to hear bad news about Qantas after Qantas out source some of its staffs to overseas.
By the way, I am a not a big fan of Qantas, these are just my opinion.

Upon further inspection, impact and delamination damage to an aft flap canoe fairing was found, in addition to some superficial damage to composite non-structural fairings/panels.

A Jetstar A320 carrying 144 passengers landed at Siem Reap-Angkor during rain. The plane has partially left the runway and slashed the lefthand side rear tyre, but this did not deflate the tyre. Reports also state that the fuelasge has also scraped the ground during the landing phase. No substantial damage occured to the aircraft and no passengers were injured.
