NAATI法律背景：


移民部于2011年7月1日公布的最新移民新政中明确指出2011年7月1日以及在此之后递交的移民申请，申请人不能再使用之前一直沿用的旧政策寻求社区语言5分的加分，也即之前的申请人只要提交相关证明材料证明其在澳大利亚境外国家完成相当于澳洲本科学历的本科学习，并且其授课语言为移民部所规定的社区语言类别之一，就能获得5分加分。

NAATI最新的政策为：

申请人如在递交移民申请时已获得NAATI澳大利亚翻译资质认可局 (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters)认可的笔译或口译准专业级或更高级别的资质才能获得社区语言5分。

对绝大多数的学生而言，直接参加NAATI澳大利亚翻译资质认可局定期举办的翻译资质考试获得通过的几率比较低。值得高兴的是，获得NAATI资质认定的途径除了直接参加考试外，还可通过完成NAATI认可的学校的翻译课程的学习并通过学校内部的考试而获得此社区语言5分的加分，难度比直接参加NAATI举办的考试大大降低了，可谓一举两得。其一，获得了相应的翻译资质。其二，为自己移民的申请添加了十分宝贵的5分。

Hi Justin!

I would like to apply graduate visa (485) after my graduation. I am currently studying MBA (1.5 years) and planning to take Master of Marketing (0.5 years) afterwards. Since 485 requires 2 years full-time study in Australia, may I know if I am applicable to apply it? Also, I noted studying MBA or Master of Marketing is not under SOL list, can I apply 485? If not, can you give me some suggestions what kind of visa that I can I apply to stay in Australia after my graduation?

American war veterans are "highly regarded by Australian recruiters" and were expected to be among those attending a Texas information event about Australia's lucrative oil, gas and mining sectors over the weekend, according to Sandi Logan of the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.

The event, which was held in Houston on May 19 and 20, was attended by recruitment representatives from 20 Australian resources companies, in addition to representatives from various state governments.

Organisers are hoping to fill several hundred job vacancies in this sector, and Logan commented on the "strong response" of nearly 3,000 American who are looking to make their next career move in Australia

Hi Justin,

Thanks for your prompt response. Actually my visa was granted in May 2011. Since I am currently studying MBA which is a 1.5 years programme, my visa will expire on 15 March 2013 (as I am expected to be graduated in Dec 2012). I am planning to enroll Master of Marketing next month which take 0.5 year to finish (so I need to extend my visa once I got the offer from uni), therefore, my Master of Marketing will be graduated in July 2013.

Actually may I know if MBA is related to Master of Marketing (as required by DIAC)? As I noted 485 required at least 2-year full time study and the programmes should be related.

Also, as mentioned in my last post, MBA and Master of Marketing are not under SOL, am I eligable to apply 485?

Appreciate if you could give me suggestions of the visa that I could apply to stay in Australia after my graduation.

At the moment, you are not eligible for the 485 visa due to the changes of skilled migration. For the course issue, i would assist you in registering the marketing course if you want and waive your submission of original documents for the full offer.
