2010年起澳洲中介需達雅思七分

2010年一月一日起，澳洲所有中介需要遞交雅思七分成績。  

近日獲悉，從2010年1月一日以后，凡是在MARA注冊的移民中介和律師，都需要提交雅思成績四個七．以下為官方消息：

New English Standard

All applicants for initial registration are required to demonstrate their proficiency in the English language.

From 1 January 2010 the standard of English required for entry to the migration advice profession will alter.  

The new requirement is an IELTS Academic overall band score of 7.0, with minimum scores of 6.5 in each module (of reading, listening, speaking and writing). Equivalent requirements will be determined by the MARA and published on this website later in 2009.

Submissions on the English Language Standard for the Profession

Registered Migration Agents interpret complex legislation, prepare detailed submissions on behalf of their clients and represent them in a wide variety of situations. High level English language skills are a necessary pre-requisite for this.

In recognition of these requirements the MARA will be changing the minimum level of English required for all individuals applying for initial registration after 31 December 2009. Our new IELTS standard will mirror those established in Canada and New Zealand for immigration consultants. A decision has not been made to apply this same standard to existing Registered Migration Agents.

The new minimum standard will be a minimum overall IELTS Academic band score of 7.0 (with a minimum score of 6.5 in each module - reading, listening, speaking and writing). In addition, we have decided to recognise other means by which an applicant can demonstrate that they have achieved an equivalent standard.

The views of the migration advice profession and other stakeholders will be sought on what equivalent standards should be recognised. We anticipate that a discussion paper will be made available on this matter early in 2009.

當我咨詢某業內強人的時候，他表示，這是應該的。很多中介的英文很差，包括那些洋人，英文也有的很差。其實，移民中介和移民法律師沒有什么大的區別。

据移民局反應，移民中介律師素質參差不齊。有的人寫的陳述書都非常差勁，一個連一紙陳述書都寫不好的，怎么可以染指移民法的業務？

自從工党上台，澳洲政府開始對移民部開始了整頓，同時，對于澳洲注冊的移民中介和律師進行了整肅，提高了入行的門檻，試圖把那些素質低下的，英文差勁的人擋在門外。

另外，移民部發言人表示，這次提高移民法行業入行門檻的想法，是參照了新西蘭和加拿大兩國的移民法規定。

英文原文寫的是總分7，各單項不低於6.5。而不是4個7哦。

英文不好的中介会害死申请人的

非常支持，早该这样了。说明澳洲政府已经认识到该问题的严重性了。
