之前在ELC上的general english,觉得老师教的没什么用,就经常旷课了.结果不知不觉出勤率没有80%了,今天收到了封电邮:You have now missed more than 20% of your classes. On a student visa you MUST attend at least 80% of your course.
The Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) will be informed that you have breached a condition in your student visa.
You must e-mail ELC.Compliance@utas.edu.au by 5pm 11/01/2010 or you will be reported to DIAC.
What you can do:
You can appeal using the English Language Centre’s Complaints and Appeals Process. If you decide to appeal you must start the process within 20 working days. (Attached is a copy of the Complaints and Process.)
If you decide to appeal you must tell the ELC's Compliance Officer by e-mail. If you don’t send an e-mail you will automatically be reported after 20 working days.
For help with the appeal process please ask your Student Advisor.
If you do not want to appeal you will be reported to (DIAC) and we will send you a non-compliance notice.
If you receive a non-compliance notice you must go to DIAC to talk about visa options. You must go to DIAC within 28 days of the date of the non-compliance notice.
Please remember:
If you are reported to DIAC your student visa may be cancelled.
If your student visa is cancelled you may not be able to get another student visa to enter Australia for three years.
Please contact the ELC Compliance Officer or your Student Advisor if you have any questions.
Yours faithfully,
