Hobart fuel cost highest
HOBART motorists paid Australia's highest petrol prices in March, fuel-watch group MotorMouth says.
Unleaded fuel in the capital surged to 169.9 cents a litre at one stage during the month and averaged 153.3c.
Sydney motorists were also hit hard, with their top price for the month listed at 166.9c and the average 146.2c.
Melbourne had the lowest price last month with unleaded dipping to 130.9c at one stage and the average 145.4c.
The Victorian capital had the lowest average price at 145.4c.
